Nadra opens new facilitation meters in four countries for foreign Pakistanis

The national database and the registration authority has opened new facilitation meters in four countries to provide better services to foreign Pakistani.

According to a spokesperson for the national database and the Nadra), the counters were created in the Pakistani embassies in Montreal and Vancouver in Canada, Milan in Italy, Manama in Bahrain and Amman in Jordan.

The spokesperson added that a counter in Rome will also become operational soon.

Nadra, the official, said, improves and continuously digitizing his systems to improve services. Pakistani citizens abroad can also use the authority’s โ€œIdentity Pakโ€ mobile application to process various identification services remotely, including online appointments and the renewal of documents.

On the other hand, Nadra recently introduced a series of reforms to improve citizen services and data accuracy. On the directives of the Ministry of the Interior, the authority made a CNIC cancellation after death for free, helping families avoid complications in inheritance and pension allegations.

The authority has also widened its digital ecosystem via the “Pak Identity” mobile application, which allows citizens to renew identity cards, to check the key services remotely. The “life proof” function, launched this year, allows retirees faced with fingerprint problems to check their online status without visiting the Nadra offices.
