ISLAMABAD:
President of the Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has arrived in Bridgetown, Barbados to participate in the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference.
At the opening ceremony, President Gilani was warmly welcomed by representatives of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) and senior government officials.
Gilani expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the Government and people of Barbados and commended the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association for serving as an important platform for inter-parliamentary dialogue, cooperation and shared learning among member states.
