Security forces killed seven terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, security forces launched the operation on October 8 following confirmed information about the presence of terrorists affiliated with the India-backed terror network Fitna al-Khwarij.
“During the exchange of fire, Major Sibtain Haider, 30, a resident of Quetta, was martyred while leading his troops from the front, paid tribute to the officer’s bravery, saying he fought valiantly till his last breath,” the statement added.

“Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and law enforcement agencies, as well as killing of innocent civilians,” the statement added.
The statement added that the sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any further Indian-sponsored Kharji found in the region, while the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave sons further strengthen our resolve.

Yesterday, eleven soldiers – including two officers – were killed during an Intelligence Operation (IBO) in a mountainous district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the Army confirmed in a statement on Wednesday, adding that 19 terrorists were also eliminated during the engagement.
“Security forces conducted an IBO investigation in Orakzai district over the reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij.
During the operation, 19 Indian-sponsored khwarij were sent to hell due to effective engagement of their own troops,” said the army’s media wing, ISPR. Fitna Al Khawarij is the state-designated term for the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its allies.

Later, funeral prayers of Lt Col Junaid Tariq and Major Tayyab Rahat were offered at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, federal ministers, military and civil officers and the public attended the janaza.
