Ragnarok Rebirth is no more
There is a new Team Up and changes to existing ones are coming Marvel Rivals Season 4.5. Unfortunately, Ragnarok Rebirth is removed entirely, meaning Thor and Hela are no longer teaming up. To compensate, Hela joins Namor in Deep Wrath, and of course Thor still has a team-up with Angela.
How long is the expected duration of downtime?
Marvel Rivals has been extremely consistent with the downtime between recent seasonal updates. NetEase once again estimates 2-3 hours of downtime, although it has been more like 2 hours in recent seasons. As such, expect 2 hours of downtime, but be aware that it might run a little later.
Daredevil joins the fight!

The new hero of season 4.5 is Daredevil. The Man Without Fear is a duelist, using his radar aiming ability to track enemies through walls. His Ultimate inflicts fear on any opponent looking in his direction, making him extremely powerful against groups.
Namor removed from Gamma Charge
My prayers were answered. Namor is no longer part of Team Gamma Charge, which means no more super-powerful laser squids beaming at me from afar. However, he teams up with Hela, called Deep Wrath, unlocking the new ability Tidal Dirge.
A new event is coming
The Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun event is coming with Season 4.5. Players can earn the Psylocke – Fleeting Butterfly skin, as well as additional cosmetics for Spider-Man and Storm. There are free rewards and a Premium track for this one.

NetEase released a Developer Vision video for Marvel Rivals Season 4.5. In it, we get an overview of the new Team Ups, the new hero, as well as some information about the main plot that will run until next season. Check it out below:

When does downtime start?
Downtime for Season 4.5 will begin on October 10 at the following times:
- East Coast (US): 5 a.m. ET (October 10)
- West Coast (United States): 2:00 a.m. (October 10)
- UK: 10:00 BST (October 10)
- Europe (Central): 11:00 CEST (October 10)
- Japan (Tokyo): 7 p.m. JST (October 10)
- Australia (Sydney): 8:00 p.m. AEST (October 10)
