CAA allows Serene Air to fly temporarily

ISLAMABAD:

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted Serene Air permission to operate temporary flights. According to an official notification, Serene Air will bring back Pakistani passengers stranded in Saudi Arabia.

Passengers who purchased Serene Air tickets have been stranded in Saudi Arabia for several days. The airline has two weeks to complete the repatriation process. The CAA had suspended Serene Air’s flight operations a few days earlier.

The CAA on Friday suspended commercial flight operations of carrier Serene Air due to the inability to maintain a serviceable fleet of aircraft.
