ISLAMABAD:
National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq announced on Friday that the digitalization process has been initiated to create an e-Parliament.
Speaking at the start of the NA session, the speaker said the digitization work was almost completed at the Secretariat, while the system would soon be extended to Parliament boxes for member facilitation.
He said under the new system, members would receive the agenda, a copy of the Constitution, rules of procedure and other legislative documents in digital form rather than in paper form.
