Adele lives a quiet and private life, as would be part of her long-term plan.
THE Good morning The hitmaker’s unofficial exit for over a year has sparked concerns among fans as to why one of the world’s most famous singers has seemingly disappeared from the spotlight since her last performance in Las Vegas in November 2024.
Sources shared with radaronline.com that the 37-year-old singer “lives like a hermit” and that she has deliberately distanced herself from public life.
“This break is like no other,” a source told the outlet. “She deliberately distances herself from the public.”
“Her current life is very private, almost solitary. She is careful about what everyone can see, even people who have known her for years.”
Another industry source said Adele “was never comfortable with fame.”
She “loves being on stage, but she can’t stand the attention around her.”
Today, “she’s finally living the way she always wanted – entirely on her own terms.”
In August 2024, during his two-year Weekends With Adele residency, the Grammy-winning artist informed the Munich audience that he was going to take a break from music.
“I won’t see you for a very long time. I just need some rest, I’ve spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now,” she told an emotional onlooker.
Sharing similar sentiments, Adele, who is already a mother to a son, said during a performance at Caesars Palace in May 2024 that she wants to have more children.
“Once I’m done with all my obligations and all my shows, I want to have a baby. And I want to have a girl because I already have a boy. I feel like she could be the person I love the most in the world and probably hate the most in the world too.”
