Pakistan Army wins gold medal during Cambrian Patrol 2025 exercise in UK

The Pakistan Army team won a gold medal during the prestigious Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2025, held in Wales, United Kingdom from October 3 to 13. This year marked the 66th edition of the world-renowned military competition.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise maintained its highly demanding professional standards, testing the endurance, tactical skills and teamwork of participating patrols from around the world.

The teams were required to traverse 60 kilometers of difficult and inhospitable terrain in 48 hours, completing a series of specialized military tasks in a contested environment simulating real combat conditions.

A total of 137 teams from 36 countries participated in this year’s competition. The Pakistan Army team, led by Captain Muhammad Saad, performed exceptionally well throughout the event and was awarded the gold medal, the ISPR said.

The statement added that this achievement is a matter of pride for the entire nation and reflects the professionalism, dedication and high standards of training of the Pakistan Army.

He further said that Pakistan Army would continue its quest for excellence and remain determined to defend the country’s flag with honor in all future international military competitions.

Interestingly, Pakistan Army also won the gold medal during Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2024, when 128 teams from 42 countries participated in the event. These consecutive achievements reflect the exceptionally high training standards and operational excellence of the Pakistan Army.
