Jennifer Aniston remembers the moment she shot the ‘SNL’ part

Jennifer Aniston Recalls the Time She Turned Down ‘SNL’

Jennifer Aniston just dropped bombshells about the alternative life path she could have taken if she hadn’t rejected an SNL acting job.

The entire conversation took place during Aniston’s appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.

Their conversation ended pretty quickly as the actress took a trip down memory lane to her SNL acting offer.

“I always thought I was such a sexy piece of shit. The history of it all is very confusing,” she began telling the host.

According to a report from People magazine, she also admitted, “Honestly, today I should ask Lorne, because I remember, I was in New York, and I had a meeting with Lorne Michaels, and I ran into [Adam] Sandler and [David] Pokes into the room just outside. And I knew Sandler my whole life.

For those who don’t know, Aniston was friends with Sandler even before Friends because “he was good friends with Charlie Schlatter, who played Ferris Bueller in the TV version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. So we met at Jerry’s Deli around 1912,” the outlet reports.

As for why she turned down the role, she attributed it to the male presence because it was a “male-dominated environment,” according to the star.

“I don’t know why I had this self-righteous attitude like, ‘I don’t know if women are treated the way they should be on this show.’ It’s a very male-dominated environment. [show,] I would love to be here if it was Gilda Radner’s day,” she also said.

“I mean, it’s the brain that half-remembers things from that far back. Something like that. I don’t remember it, but I just remember Friends happening around that time,” she concluded by also saying.
