Kim Kardashian opened up about how her daughter North West explored beauty and learned to be confident at an early age.
In a recent conversation with Alex Cooper about the Call her daddy podcast, the 44-year-old reality star opened up about her daughter North West’s childhood in the beauty world.
Kim revealed that her 12-year-old daughter had developed a passion for makeup, particularly lip liner.
“I’ve had these conversations with North about makeup because she loves her lip liner,” the SKIMS founder said. She added that her “door is wide open” to her children and their friends. “And she’ll say, but mom, I grew up literally my whole life sitting on your lap while you did your makeup, watching you do it.”
Since North spent her childhood as part of Kardashian’s glam squad, she even calls makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic one of her “teachers.”
North and her friends also learn special effects makeup for fun.
“I like the fact that they’re…not adults [up]”, she said. “What they do on their weekends is they go to the room and they put on makeup.”
The mom of four also raved about North’s confidence.
“She’s really mature in a way… She’s really confident and says, ‘I probably wouldn’t hang out with those people.'”
