I’m clearly not the only one who appreciates Battlefield 6as publisher Electronic Arts reveals, it has already “broken records” by selling more than seven million copies in just the first three days since its launch.
“Battlefield 6 now has the largest opening ever seen in the world Battlefield franchise,” the publisher announced, calling the new entry a “record success.”
In these first three days, players managed to complete over 172 million matches online, with the highest number of concurrent users ever. Battlefield game.
The game is currently the best-selling title on PC gaming platform Steam and reached an all-time high player count of 656,067 shortly after its launch on October 10.
Battlefield 6 was also well received by critics. In my Battlefield 6 review, I said it “delivered one of the most powerful multiplayer offerings to date” – while lamenting the lackluster campaign and lack of overall innovation.
We’re just over a week away from the start of the game’s first season, which is expected to introduce plenty of free content, including new maps, weapons, and gear.
