The answers to today’s Strands, game #596, are…
- NOTE
- SIGNATURE
- ROUTING
- NUMBER
- ADDRESS
- AMOUNT
- SPANGRAM: CHECKLIST
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 1 clue
Playing from the UK, I wasn’t sure of the terminology used for sending a check in the mail, but it all made sense in the end.
Ironically, given that this was a search focused entirely on financial terminology, “chase” was the first non-gaming word I found, with a few others to give me a clue.
Getting MEMO didn’t help much, but then I spotted CHECKLIST – which helped reveal SIGNATURE; it’s always a shock when you realize that such a long word is hiding in plain sight.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Sunday October 19, Match #595)
- SAUCE
- JELLY
- BUTTER
- CIDER
- COMPOTE
- STRUDEL
- DONUT
- SPANGRAM: APPLES
