Piers Morgan has hinted he could one day run for British Prime Minister.
The 60-year-old presenter and journalist made the comments during a chat with Saga Magazinejoking about the possibility of “PM for PM”.
He said people were fed up with the Government over the NHS, immigration and roads.
“What would be in my manifesto? » » said Morgana. “A 1% income tax that would go directly to the NHS, and taking inspiration from Trump, I would tell President Macron that if he didn’t act on migrant boats, we would tax French imports by 1,000%. It’s time to be tougher.”
Morgan, who celebrated her 60th birthday this year, also reflected on her health and fitness. He revealed he’s been paying more attention to diet and exercise, including taking up boxing – “and no, it’s not because I keep fighting,” he joked.
He recalled that the only person to punch him was Jeremy Clarkson at the 2004 Press Awards, leaving him with a “Harry Potter scar” above his temple.
