While there may not be crying in baseball, there certainly is in hockey.
Florida Panthers star Brad Marchand returned to TD Garden during the team’s 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night and was very emotional when the Bruins released a tribute video for him.
Marchand, 37, spent more than 15 years of his career with the Bruins before being traded to the Panthers before last year’s trade deadline. He was the captain of the Bruins when they traded him.

After the tribute played, Marchand jumped over the boards and acknowledged the loud ovation he received and emotions quickly got the better of him. He started crying on the ice, then sat back down on the bench, overcome with emotion.
“Obviously, I just want to thank (the fans) for their very incredible time here,” Marchand said in a pre-game interview with NESN. “It was the best years of my (life).”
