DUBAI: In a city famous for its breathtaking skyline and home to over a hundred of the world’s tallest buildings, Dubai has added another milestone to its long list of achievements.
A team of firefighters from Dubai Civil Defense has entered the Guinness World Records – a feat that showcases not only their strength and endurance, but also the exceptional training and capabilities of the city’s emergency response teams.
The record was set for the fastest time to climb the iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, using its interior stairwell.
Firefighters completed the grueling 159-story climb in just 52 minutes and 30 seconds, while fully equipped with a 15-kilogram firefighting suit, including an oxygen tank.
This remarkable achievement highlights the physical and mental resilience of Dubai Civil Defense personnel, who remain ready to respond to emergencies, even in the most extreme and vertical environments.
