ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan and Azerbaijan on Tuesday reaffirmed their determination to strengthen cooperation through regular parliamentary exchanges, mutual visits and joint initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable development, regional stability and strengthening people-to-people ties.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between Senate President Yusuf Raza Gilani and Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, held on the sidelines of the International Parliamentary Conference marking the 30th anniversary of the country’s Constitution, according to a statement.
