Meghan Markle is reportedly “carefully” planning her next career move.
Amid uncertainty over the Duchess of Sussex’s future with Netflix, she subtly hinted at her next chapter, via Radaronline.com.
While the 44-year-old mom recently took to her Instagram account to share rare behind-the-scenes glimpses of the second season of her lifestyle show, also starring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, royal sources believe she is giving a nod to her former lifestyle blog, The Tig.
“Meghan has been thinking carefully about her next step. She knows that the last season was not as successful as the first, and she is considering which direction to take,” a source close to Meghan told the outlet.
“The Tig was something deeply personal to her – it showcased her creativity and gave her a real connection with her audience. She wanted to reconnect with that side of herself,” the source added.
This happened after the second season of Meghan’s With Love series, Meghan failed to appear in the streamer’s Top 10, while the first season reached 2.6 million views and reached 12.6 million hours in its first week of release.
A second source said: “The series didn’t generate the numbers Netflix hoped for, and that created tension in the deal.
“Meghan holds herself to incredibly high standards – she wants her work to have substance, but she’s also very aware of public perception. She took her time to decide on the smartest next step.”
