A senior Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader and self-styled Defense Minister Qari Amjid alias Mufti Muzahim was killed during an Intelligence Operation (IBO) in Bajaur district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, sources confirmed on Thursday.
The Khorasan newspaper wrote on X that Amjid, a key figure in the terrorist group, was killed early in the morning during the security operation.

Amjid had previously held several senior positions within the TTP, serving as the group’s deputy leader, shadow defense minister and member of its leadership council.
He was designated a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the US Department of State in November 2022 for his role in militant activities and leadership within the banned organization, Khorasan Newspaper quoted.
