There were only four words and a spangram in today’s game but we had to work hard to find them; Well, I did it anyway!
After finding half a dozen non-gaming words and mistakenly thinking our task was to find words associated with good manners, I figured out a clue, and DELICIOUS put me on the right track.
It took me a lot of attempts trying different spellings, but I finally came up with SCRUMPTIOUS – a word whose most famous appearance is in the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song Really delicious – before the much easier, TASTY and DELECTABLE.
