LAHORE:

Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi on Tuesday said Pakistan Railways would reduce costs and improve connectivity to further facilitate the business community at large.

Speaking at the LCCI, the minister said Pakistan had regained its reputation as a responsible and peace-loving country at the global level. “We are not terrorists but ambassadors of peace.”

He said it was the right time to improve Pakistan’s economy and urged people to have confidence, adding that investments would boost industries and drive national progress.

“We used to be on ventilators, but not anymore,” he said.
