ISLAMABAD:
The Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing in the KP stone crushing case till November 11.
A constitutional bench headed by Justice Aminud Din conducted the proceedings and examined the compliance report submitted in light of the court order dated July 11, 2024 regarding stone crushing plants in the province.
During the hearing, the AAG told the court that KP had 903 crushing plants and monitoring of 879 had been completed.
According to the report, 230 factories are currently closed, while the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued various instructions to 719 factories for various violations.
