Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-859, traveling from Lahore to Jeddah, was hit by a bird in mid-flight. As a result, the plane was diverted to Karachi Jinnah International Airport as a precautionary measure.
The collision with the bird caused serious damage to the plane’s windshield. Repairs to the plane are expected to take approximately 12 hours.
According to sources, 344 passengers were on board, all of whom were transferred to a hotel.
