Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) of MQM-Pakistan’s support for the proposed amendments to the Local Government Act under the 27th Amendment, sources said on Thursday.
The development came as the MQM-P delegation comprising Sindh Governor Karam, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Farooq Sattar visited the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad.
