It’s rare to see Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce make the shot he made in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Kelce was in the back of the end zone trying to catch a pass from Patrick Mahomes before halftime when Bills defensive back Cole Bishop reached the top of the veteran. Kelce took a minute to get back to his feet and cautiously left the field.

He headed to the locker room with just seconds left on the clock before the end of the second quarter, and was also seen responding to Bills fans.
On Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights,” he opened up about what frustrated him most about the ordeal.
“It took my breath away. It grabbed me – I kind of found myself sandwiched in there. You know you’re okay, but you just kind of have to…” Kelce said, pretending to try to catch his breath.
He seemed disturbed by what was coming next.

“‘Come into the blue tent. You’ve knocked out the wind,'” he said, recalling what an official told him to do. “Why am I going in… No, it was halftime. I had to get evaluated in the locker room. I just said, ‘Why, what is this?’
“‘What day is it?’ Damn Sunday,” he continued. “What?… Before concussion or after concussion, I don’t know who we played last week. It’s week 9. Are you kidding me? You’re going to make me sit here and damn… Who did we play last? The Commanders.”
Kelce gave props to Bills fans for trash talking. He said it was an “honor” to still have the opportunity to play at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.
The Chiefs are 5-4 this season and are on the outside looking in for the playoffs as of Week 10. Kelce leads all tight ends with 540 receiving yards. He has 41 catches on 53 targets and three touchdowns.
