- AN ACCOUNTANT
- CLERK
- DIRECTOR
- RECEPTIONIST
- HELP
- SPANGRAM: OFFICE JOBS
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
I had two hits from the late 1970s running through my head while playing this game. The first being the Boomtown Rats classic I don’t like Mondayswhich was a bit macabre upon reflection, but something I sang to myself while doing homework on a Sunday evening.
The second song was Martha and The Muffins’ small town anthem. Echo Beachwith its refrain of “From nine to five I have to spend my time at work / My job is very boring, I am an office worker” – something I can relate to in my old life as a bored office worker.
Of all the OFFICE JOBS we’ve researched today, RECEPTIONIST has to be the most fun, especially if you have a computer screen that’s not facing your co-workers – leaving you free to daydream about being back in Echo Beach without your nosy co-workers knowing what you’re doing.
