After two seasons, FX canceled English teachera comedy series starring Brian Jordan Alvarez as Evan Marquez.
The network gave no specific reason for its decision. But it’s worth noting that the show’s lead, who also served as the show’s creator, was previously accused of sexual assault by his ex-friend Jon Ebeling.
What’s notable is that these allegations were made against Brian before FX decided to renew the series for a second season, signaling that they had no impact on the fate of the series.
