Meghan Markle Claps Back at Haters Over Poppy Concerns: ‘PR Clashes’

Meghan Markle subtly responds to haters with her Veterans Day message.

The Duchess of Sussex, who paid tribute to her husband Prince Harry for serving in the British army, is being praised for her return amid criticism for not wearing a poppy.

Body language expert Judi James said: “Meghan’s ‘Once served, always served’ here feels like a personal tribute to her husband, especially since she even claims him as the source of the quote.

“As a message to her husband of his continued admiration and respect, this message seems impeccable, even if it might have made him blush to see it being featured among millions of other options.”

She said: “The wording suggests it may also aim to remind the public not only of Harry’s active service, but also of his claims that he would lead a ‘life of service’ despite leaving the royal family.

“In the face of criticism for not wearing a poppy or PR clashes, this could also be an intentional reminder that Harry is in fact one of the veterans of the day,” she noted.
