King Charles is reportedly pleased with Meghan Markle after she paid a special tribute to Prince Harry.
According to a former royal butler, Charles would have loved his social media post dedicated to the Duke of Sussex on Veterans Day.
Grant Harrold, who worked for Charles when he was Prince of Wales, said Meghan’s video showing Harry in uniform and its message honoring those who serve was respectful and unlikely to cause problems.
Talk to ReachPlcGrant said: “It’s a very powerful video and a very moving message. It clearly shows Meghan’s move to a more ‘celebrity’ approach to social media, sharing the video she wants and considers important on key days.”
He added: “It’s a very beautiful message. I don’t think the royal family will feel bad at all, I think they will approve of it.
“She celebrates Veterans Day – which is the American version of Memorial Day – and shows her pride in the active duty service her husband undertook.
“The King was extremely proud of his son serving in Afghanistan, and he will be pleased that Meghan recognizes and respects that.”
