Arc Raiders Players are currently working on a community unlock event, where they can donate resources to fill a progress bar, paving the way for a new map. Embark Studios has praised the community for seemingly being overly generous with donations and is making changes to the unlock requirements.
Speaking in a post on Discord, Embark Studios revealed updates from the community event:
“You have progressed through the unlock event much faster than expected. We had no idea that you would all be so selfless to the cause of Stella Montis, and you are giving much more than we could have imagined. We want this event to be experienced by Raiders everywhere and that is why we are raising the bar to unlock Stella Montis with the expectation that you will surprise us again.”
Personally, I already maxed out my donation after a few hours, so clearly the event needed some tweaking. The “Breaking New Ground” event was already half-unlocked after just a day of community progression, but now the cap has been raised, extending the event and giving players a chance to jump in and get involved.
