NYT Strands today (game #622) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #622, are…
- GLASSES
- BINOCULARS
- GLASSES
- LENTILS
- GLASSES
- SPANGRAM: EYE EYE
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: Perfect
Even though they were hidden in my usual starting possession, I failed to see the GLASSES – Oh! The irony!
Instead, I spotted the word “geese” which isn’t part of the game, which immediately made me think of the excellent band of the same name and my current favorite song, taxes, which I haven’t stopped thinking about for weeks. I think it was still on my mind as I collected other non-money related words “rent,” “stole,” “cost,” and “sell.”
Anyway, I digress. The GLASSES were eventually spotted, I managed to navigate the board to find the other visible objects quite easily – although the BINOCULARS caused me a bit of spelling difficulty. I am more of a “monocular” person.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Friday, November 14, Game #621)
- FADE OUT
- NEBULOUS
- TENUOUS
- SUBTLE
- DISCREET
- SPANGRAM: BARELY THERE
