Amid rumors of an impending divorce, an expert explains why he thinks Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be at the end of the game.
The expert in question is royal expert Duncan Larcombe and he recently spoke to The mirror to explain what he thinks makes the Sussexes click.
The conversation began with him saying: “There were times in their marriage where Meghan and Harry were against the world.”
Additionally, according to Mr. Larcombe, “a clear theme since their first meeting has been how protective Harry is of Meghan. He is a very loyal husband – much more so than most, because Meghan receives so much negative publicity, particularly online.”
Not to mention that “we’ve seen Harry support her in court cases and also speak out against people who have wronged Meghan, which in his mind includes the Princess of Wales, Catherine.”
“There has also been a lot of heartbreak in their marriage, but their past experiences and similar traumas are what unites them and makes them stronger.”
For those who don’t know, there were numerous incidents described in Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, which highlight how poor Meghan Markle’s mental health was during her time in the UK.
Whether because of the tabloids or rumors of divisions within the cabinet, with senior members like Prince William and Kate Middleton, reports broke like wildfire during the Sussexes’ short tenure as full-time royals.
A revelation was also made that Meghan Markle began feeling suicidal at one point.
The Duchess revealed it in 2024 with CBS Sunday morning, for their Parents Network initiative and said, “When you’ve been through any level of pain or trauma, I think part of our healing journey, and certainly part of mine, is being able to talk about it really openly. And I haven’t really scratched the surface of my experience. But I think I would never want anyone else to feel that way.”
“And I would never want anyone else to make those kinds of plans. And I would never want anyone else to be disbelieved. If expressing what I’ve overcome can save someone, or encourage someone in their life to really, truly check in on them, and not assume that looks are good and everything is okay, then it’s worth it. I’ll take a beating for that.”
