Irina Shayk opened up about parenting her 8-year-old daughter, Leo De Seine, who she shares with ex Bradley Cooper.
Talk with People Magazinethe model opened up about how she protects her daughter Lea from “so many beauty standards.”
Irina said: “I just feel like there are so many beauty standards that of course I’m trying to protect my daughter from.”
Adding: “It’s very important and I really hope it’s not a trend.”
Additionally, Irina hopes her daughter Lea will follow suit to “stand up for who you are.”
Admitting that she herself has learned to love herself over time, Irina said: “In this industry there are so many things that you can now perfect and adjust, and I always say that you just have to love who you are.”
“I’m literally at the right time in my life. I’m a mother and I feel very comfortable in my skin,” Irina added. “Imperfections could be perfect. I mean, you can look at one of the most beautiful women in the world and maybe she doesn’t have a perfect nose or lips or ears, but that’s their beauty. So, I’m championing natural beauty, celebrating who you are.”
Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk welcomed their daughter Lea in 2017 and split two years later.
