Quentin Jammer, a former star NFL defensive back who played 12 years in the league, took a stance on men in women’s spaces in a social media post over the weekend.

The former San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos cornerback came to the defense of fitness influencer Joey Swoll, who defended a woman who stood up to a man in the women’s locker room. Swoll made it clear that he didn’t think men should be in women’s locker rooms, and Jammer followed him.

The incident mentioned in Swoll’s post happened earlier this month. A California woman says her gym membership was revoked after she objected to a man using the women’s locker room.

He is the latest NFL personality to speak out on the issue.

Earlier this year, former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver told PK Press Club Digital that he doesn’t believe men should compete with women in sports.

“I think, you know, God made you the way he made you,” Driver said in April. “And I think at the end of the day, if he made you a man, then you compete in men’s sports. He made you a woman, you compete in women’s sports. I think at the end of the day, you can’t compete at that level.

“Girls are sometimes faster than boys, guys are sometimes faster than girls. Sometimes guys are stronger, sometimes girls are not. So, at the end of the day, I think at the end of the day, that’s how God created you, so you have to compete in the sport that God created you in. So that’s where I find the place, knowing that I have girls and boys. You have to be very open-minded about the situation, but you have to also understand that you have to be very transparent in the conversation. For me, I think if God created you a certain way, then that’s the sport you compete in.
