Before the second season, Sana Amanat, producer of Daredevil: Born Again, teases that “we can do whatever we want” in the upcoming story.
His comments refer to the revamp of the first season, which the creators did not face in the upcoming season.
“The landscape was open and it was so liberating,” she said in an interview with Empire Onlineadding: “We were like, ‘We can do whatever we want.'”
At the end of the first season, Robert Fisk gains ascendancy, leading Sana to wonder, “What does it mean for Fisk when he’s gotten everything he wants?”
“When you give a person whose thirst cannot be quenched his most precious treasure, is it enough? Or is he clutching his treasure too tightly?”
Additionally, Jessica Jones, well-known heroine of the Marvel universe, is about to enter the world of Daredevil, as she will appear in the second season.
About him, the producer declares: “[Jones] is not necessarily a team player. So the reason it’s back is because it’s very personal. She brings edginess and lightness – Daredevil can be very dark and dramatic, and she cuts through the BS in a really fun way.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will be released on Disney+ in March 2026.
