Princess Beatrice is said to be worried about her father, the former Duke of York Andrew, amid her mother Sarah Ferguson’s big plans for the future.
According to a report from Closer, Sarah, Andrew’s ex-wife, who has lived together at the Royal Lodge since 2008, wants to find a “sugar daddy” capable of following her “expensive taste” following their recent blow.
King Charles stripped Andrew’s titles and asked him to leave the Royal Lodge.
The publication reports that Sarah is carefully considering her next move, both personally and professionally, but Beatrice has some reservations.
The insider further said that Sarah told Beatrice and those around her that she had been “devastated” by recent events, but that she was never going to “give up on love.”
“She opened herself up to finding a suitable man to help her enjoy life – someone successful, kind and financially secure.”
Sarah has always been independent, but she knows she has “a taste for the prize” and she jokes that she “needs a man who can keep up,” her close confidant said.
However, her eldest daughter, Beatrice, wants her to move on, but also fears how Andrew would take it.
Beatrice knows Andrew would be “crushed” if Sarah met someone new and fears the idea of being alone would “break his heart”.
“But at the same time, she just wants her parents to find their own peace. They’ve been separated for decades and clinging to the past isn’t healthy.”
