Selma Blair opens up about her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis

Selma Blair recently opened up about her health after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

For those who don’t know, the 53-year-old American actress has suffered from multiple sclerosis for more than seven years.

On Saturday, November 22, she sat down with Stellar and revealed that she has been relapse-free for “a few years” and how grateful she is because her condition is stable.

Expressing his feelings, Blair said: “It, of course, means a lot to me that I’m not, right now, accumulating more damage in my brain. I’ve also made a lot of progress with the neuroplasticity vibe.”

“I’m very, very lucky. Everyone’s experience with MS is different. I think I have a certain place [to speak publicly]. My big mouth likes to see what I can do against stigma,” Legally blonde star rated.

According to the Mayo Clinic, multiple sclerosis is “a disease that causes a breakdown in the protective covering of nerves. Multiple sclerosis can cause numbness, weakness, difficulty walking, vision changes, and other symptoms.”
