Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law reportedly lashed out at the legendary coach’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, in a “nearly hour-long profanity-laced tirade” after a game, adding to the whirlwind of controversy during his first year as UNC Tar Heels head football coach.

The New York Post first reported the outburst from Jen Belichick, the wife of coaching legend Steve Belichick’s son, who is UNC’s defensive coordinator.

The incident reportedly happened Nov. 8 in the elder Belichick’s office, where Jen Belichick made no secret of her opinions about Hudson — from fashion choices to her relationship with her father-in-law to her body — while the 73-year-old coach was in the room.

The Tar Heels aren’t enjoying the best season — Belichick’s inaugural college season with a 4-6 record heads into a showdown with Duke at home on Saturday — but this Jen Belichick rant came after a win over Stanford. The feeling of victory seemed short-lived as Jen Belichick was “furious with Hudson” over an interaction they had earlier in the day.

Jen Belichick then called Hudson a “bat…crazy,” while adding that all she “does is control shit.” Jen Belichick reportedly said Hudson was “twisting” her stepfather’s brain, and even begged him to “wake up.”

Jen Belichick reportedly told the room, which included more than just her husband, her father-in-law and Hudson, that she didn’t care if her tirade resulted in her husband’s firing or her father-in-law’s disavowal.

“He wants to fire you, fire you. He wants to disown me, disown me. I don’t care,” Jen Belichick allegedly told her husband in front of the group.

Another part of the rant included Jen Belichick chastising Hudson over her fashion choices, which were seen at every Tar Heels game as she watched from the sidelines. Jen Belichick specifically took a photo of Hudson’s snakeskin prints that she wears to games, while also commenting on her body.

“You have to eat a hamburger too,” Jen Belichick allegedly told Hudson.

The Post reported that Jen Belichick’s tirade lasted about 40 minutes.

This isn’t the first time Jen Belichick has said something about Hudson, and it dates back to the infamous “CBS Sunday Mornings” interview, where the 24-year-old awkwardly interrupted after Bill Belichick was asked a question about how the couple met.

At the time, some of Bill Belichick’s former New England Patriots players, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, were commenting on it during their “Dudes on Dudes” podcast. They alleged that Hudson “worked with Coach Belichick in the professional world” as a publicist.

Comedian Nikki Glaser, who was part of Netflix’s Tom Brady roast also featuring Edelman and Gronkowski, backed up what the former NFL stars said in a comment on Instagram. She wrote: “It’s 100%. She’s playing the role of her publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood.”

Jen Belichick jumped into the comments section to respond to Glaser.

“Publicists act professionally and do not walk off set delaying an interview,” she wrote.

PK Press Club Digital did not immediately get a response to UNC Athletics’ comment on whether this argument took place after the Nov. 8 game.

It’s been a roller coaster ride for Bill Belichick since entering the world of college football with a struggling product on the field and distractions off the field.

However, with NFL head coaching positions already open following midseason layoffs, Belichick reassured everyone in Chapel Hill that he plans to stay put.

“Since arriving in Chapel Hill, my commitment to the UNC football program has not changed. [wavered]”Belichick said in a statement after the New York Giants fired Brian Daboll, leading to discussions about him becoming their next leader in the locker room. “We have tremendous support from the university, our alumni and the entire Carolina community. My focus remains solely on continuing to improve this team, develop our players and build a program that makes Tar Heel fans proud. »
