Kate Middleton is being praised for her last major appearance after recovering from cancer.
The Princess of Wales was seen speaking at the Future Workforce Summit as she focused on the importance of “valuing time and tenderness just as much as productivity and success”.
Speaking about Kate’s words, royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror: “I admire Catherine for practicing what she preaches.”
Jennie said. “I’m sure she fully understands the pressures that exist for many working parents and means every word she says.
“She’s as much a hands-on mum as she can be and she’s encouraged William to be a full-fledged dad. Obviously, they’re both incredibly privileged to have a choice in the matter and they’ve taken quite a bit of flak for doing things like splitting up school holidays as family time. But Catherine passionately believes that these early years of her children’s lives are by far the most important and formative.
“She was also speaking as a mother with the terrible added pressure of managing poor health, following her diagnosis. There is no doubt that she understands and appreciates that being able to take time off from work to prioritize her health and that of her family was a privilege, and she is incredibly grateful for that,” she added.
“Now she appears to be using her platform to highlight the good that she knows can come from this privilege, for the benefit of other parents and society as a whole. It’s a cause that is incredibly close to her heart,” the expert said.
