None of the party leaders, lawyers or family members visited PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail on Thursday.
It was the first time in Imran Khan’s year and a half of incarceration that no one came to visit him on the scheduled “visiting day”.
Meanwhile, the negotiating committee was waiting for permission from the prison administration to meet the party founder. Imran Khan’s lawyer questioned how the negotiating committee could visit the prison without formal approval.
Adiala jail sources said no special permission is required to meet Imran Khan on the designated visiting days: Tuesday and Thursday.
