Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could face a tough road ahead after refusing Kris Jenner’s request to share photos from her recent birthday party.
According to Heat Magazine, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision could strain their ties with the Kardashian matriarch.
An insider said Kris didn’t take well to the Sussexes refusing her proposal and that she may cut ties with the couple due to the humiliation she faced.
If she does, the couple’s social and financial prospects could take a hit, especially as Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, continues to suffer from “poor sales”, the source said.
“Meghan is upset because she respects Kris, but she’s not giving up hope,” the source said of Meghan’s reaction on the issue.
“She has already sent a letter of apology and will no doubt send holiday gift packages and other peace offerings to find her way back into the Kardashians’ good books,” they added.
The insider continued: “She’s hoping it’s all going to blow over and be water under the bridge soon enough. But when you go through this family, there’s usually no way back and it’s likely they’ll give Harry and Meghan an extremely wide berth in the future.
“Meghan isn’t giving up, but right now it’s a nightmare as far as their social prospects go and it might cost them a lot of money too. She really didn’t want to upset Kris and just wants their friendship back.”
