ISLAMABAD:
The sessions of the Senate and the National Assembly will be held today (Thursday), respectively at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
The Senate’s seven-point agenda was also released. Senator Ali Zafar will present the report of the Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting regarding the safety of journalists, an issue raised earlier by the late Senator Irfan Siddiqui.
Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain will introduce the National Agricultural Trade and Food Safety Authority Bill.
Notices of attention will also be discussed, including that of Senator Jan Muhammad concerning the blocking of parliamentarians’ accounts by commercial banks, and another of Senator Talha Mahmood concerning the deterioration of the state of roads in Chitral.
