The Islamabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Tri-Nations cricket series match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The cricket teams will travel from Islamabad to the stadium and diversions are planned on Srinagar Highway, Club Road and Ninth Avenue during peak hours. The flow of traffic on these roads could be affected.
Authorities advised travelers to allow an extra 15 to 20 minutes to get around. Islamabad Traffic Police said they would do everything possible to reduce inconvenience and provide traffic updates via social media and FM 92.4.
Citizens are also urged to cooperate with traffic authorities and exercise patience. In case of emergency, they can contact “Pukaar 15” or the Traffic Helpline at 1915.

Sri Lanka beat Zimbabwe by nine wickets in the fifth match of the tri-national T20 International series on Tuesday evening.
Both the teams fought in a match each and with this victory, Sri Lanka are now in contention for second place out of three teams in the T20I series.
Sri Lanka will play another match on Thursday against Pakistan, who have already qualified for the final with six points without losing a match so far.
If Zimbabwe team had won this match then they would have directly reached the final but now if Sri Lanka also wins against Pakistan in their fourth match then Sri Lankan team can reach the final which will be played on 29th November.
