The emotional side of Zara Tindall celebrating conservation champions

Zara Tindall looked visibly emotional on Wednesday as she attended the Tusk Conservation Awards ceremony celebrating individuals who are making a real difference to wildlife.

Prince William’s royal cousin, 44, looked elegant in a black mini dress trimmed with silver buttons.

At the awards ceremony, she arrived separately from her husband, carrying a sparkling gold clutch.

Earlier in the evening, she attended a cocktail party hosted by designer Rebecca Vallance before joining her husband, Mike Tindall, and Prince William at the awards ceremony.

The Prince of Wales, a long-time champion of the charity, paid tribute to the frontline heroes of African conservation at the 13th annual ceremony.

One of the highlights was the presentation of the Tusk Wildlife Ranger Award, won by Laban Mwangi, with William congratulating all the winners for their dedication to protecting ecosystems and endangered species.

The royal evening was peppered with A-list faces, as William mingled with ambassadors including John Cleese and rock icon Ronnie Wood.
