Shrek5 welcomed two new faces into its royal family like Marcello Hernández de Saturday evening live and actor Skyler Gisondo has officially joined the cast.
They will play Fergus and Farkle, the sons of Shrek and Princess Fiona, and their arrival has brought new excitement to the famous world of animation.
The two stars joined returning stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz, who once again played Shrek, Donkey and Fiona.
However, the film also included Zendaya as Felicia, Shrek and Fiona’s daughter, marking another major name added to the cast list.
Shrek5 is expected to arrive in theaters on June 30, 2027 as the film promises a new journey into Far far away while bringing back the familiar charm that has made me a worldwide favorite.
The story was guided by directors Conrad Vernon and Walt Dohrn, known for shaping the humor and emotion of the series’ early days.
Vernon previously directed Shrek 2 and even voiced Gingy, while Dohrn contributed as a writer, artist and voice actor, most notably in his role as Rumpelstiltskin.
Additionally, the production team included Gina Shay, who previously worked on Shrek Forever After and the Trolls films.
