NYT Strands today (game #636) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #636, are…
- WHEEL
- PULLEY
- AXEL
- SCREW
- LEVER
- CORNER
- PLANE
- SPANGRAM: SIMPLEMACHINE
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: Perfect
I didn’t use any hints today but this game was far from easy.
This was due to two factors. The first was an unnecessarily long spangram – just the word “machine parts” would have been more appropriate – that took me a while to put together.
The second reason was that Strands always takes longer when you don’t know what you’re looking for. Regardless, going through the board I managed to find everything, as well as many non-game related words. Resisting turning them into clues was my greatest achievement.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Friday, November 28, Match #635)
- COIN
- FOUNTAIN
- LADYBUG
- STAR
