ISLAMABAD:

Friday’s session of the National Assembly was suspended due to lack of quorum and work was adjourned until Monday evening.

As soon as the House was about to resume its proceedings, MP Mehboob Shah highlighted the quorum.

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq ordered a head count, but the House proved insufficient.

The quorum not being reached, the President adjourned the proceedings until 5 p.m. Monday.

No legislative issues could be discussed, nor could the House debate national issues.
