ISLAMABAD:
Climate Change Minister Musadik Malik on Sunday highlighted the urgent need for climate-resilient development and coordinated action to address the growing impacts of climate change, particularly on vulnerable populations in Pakistan.
Speaking as the chief guest at a conference on climate change, the minister said Pakistan must act quickly to strengthen environmental preparedness, adaptation and management across all sectors.
He informed the participants that the government has formulated a 300-day national preparedness plan on the instructions of the Prime Minister to prepare for the 2026 monsoon season.
