- Jensen Huang orders Nvidia employees to automate every possible task using advanced AI tools
- Nvidia faces skepticism as investors worry about stable long-term AI demand
- Nvidia engineers rely heavily on Cursor coding wizard for development
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made a direct appeal to employees, telling them to rely on artificial intelligence for any task that can be automated.
He dismissed fears that increased use of AI could threaten jobs and called it unrealistic for anyone to deliberately avoid such systems.
His remarks came during an all-hands meeting after Nvidia announced another round of record financial results.
Using AI amid market cycle doubts
“From what I understand, some Nvidia managers are telling their employees to use less AI… Are you crazy? » said Jensen Huang.
“I want every task that can be automated with artificial intelligence to be automated with artificial intelligence…I promise you, you will have work to do.”
He responded to internal reports from managers advising teams to reduce their reliance on AI tools, calling the advice misguided and unnecessary.
Huang’s comments come at a time when investors continue to question the sustainability of rising AI spending.
He pointed out that the company faces a situation where its performance is interpreted negatively, regardless of the outcome.
Nvidia had what it described as a stellar quarter, followed by a decline in shares the next day, which it attributed to market doubts about how long demand for AI systems would last.
For Huang, a strong quarter is evidence of excessive optimism, when even a slight failure would have intensified the narrative of an industry-wide bubble.
However, well-known investors outside the company have expressed concerns. One of them is Michael Burry, whose reputation comes from his early warnings during the housing crisis, who warned that rapid innovation could end up hurting businesses when too many competitors followed the same path.
But Huang asked employees to continue using AI even if the systems are unreliable in certain scenarios, adding that persistent use can improve results.
Nvidia engineers currently rely on the Cursor coding assistant, and Huang believes they should continue to apply similar tools in their daily work.
Huang is not alone, as other major companies like Microsoft, Meta, Google and Amazon share the same idea.
They asked employees to integrate AI into repetitive or automatable workflows that involve productivity tools and office software.
Nvidia’s message reflects a clear direction from the company and a broader shift in the technology sector that makes AI essential rather than optional.
That said, the outcome of this strategy remains uncertain and comparison to previous technology cycles raises reasonable questions about long-term stability.
