Kraken, the cryptocurrency exchange set to go public in the United States early next year, has unveiled an invitation-only VIP program tailored to high-net-worth individuals, savvy traders and strategic capital allocators, the company said.
Cryptocurrency exchanges are looking to fill the void when it comes to providing high-quality services to high-net-worth individuals, family offices and private clients. Most recently, Binance, the largest cryptocurrency trading platform, introduced a “prestige” offering for customers with a net worth of up to $10 million.
Kraken VIP includes “elevated customer service and extraordinary experiences,” according to a press release. Each member is paired with a dedicated VIP relationship manager, supported by 24/7 support, direct multi-channel access, and early insight into the full Kraken product ecosystem.
VIPs also have access to Kraken subject matter experts covering product, engineering, liquidity, custody and infrastructure, providing them with insights to fuel their trading experience, according to press materials.
“Ultra-high net worth clients don’t come to us just for speed – they trust us because they expect a partner who matches their ambition and understands what true scale looks like. Kraken VIP was built for them. It offers unprecedented access, influence and elevated experience that doesn’t exist anywhere else in the digital asset ecosystem,” said Arjun Sethi, Co-CEO of Kraken.
Kraken also offers its VIPs access to “extraordinary experiences”, such as Formula 1, football, cultural events and intimate regional meetings not accessible to the general public.
Kraken VIP membership requires an average balance of $10 million on the platform or $80 million in annual trading volume.
