Joe Jonas slams fan ‘debt’ issue

Joe Jonas answers the question that sparked the fan rumor

Joe Jonas is setting the record straight after a fan suggested the Jonas Brothers might be taking on new projects due to financial issues.

The comment came after the trailer for Camp Rock 3 abandoned, sparking buzz and wild guesses online.

A social media user reshared the trailer on X and asked: “Real question, are the Jonas Brothers in serious debt or something?” ยป

Joe quickly responded and ended the speculation with a nostalgic reference.

“God forbid Connect 3, go back to where Connect 3 connected,” he tweeted, highlighting the famous line Kevin said in the first movie.

Joe, Kevin and Nick have been in the spotlight together since 2005, and now they’re returning again as Connect 3 for Disney’s new sequel.

They will reprise their roles as Shane, Jason and Nate Gray, while also serving as executive producers.

Demi Lovato, who starred in the original films as Mitchie Torres, is also producing, although her on-screen involvement has not been confirmed.

The official teaser shows the trio returning to the music summer camp where it all began.

“Music, friendship, memories,” Nick says in the preview, followed by Joe’s reply: “We’re back. Right where we’re supposed to be.”

Fans can expect Camp Rock 3 to hit screens in summer 2026.

The synopsis promises a familiar but fresh storyline, Connect 3 returns to Camp Rock after losing an opening slot for a major reunion tour, determined to discover “the next big thing.”

While the brothers were clearly excited to revisit the franchise, Joe’s message was simple: They’re doing it for the love of where their story started, not for the money.
